At Finnela we look after your data the way we'd want ours looked after: only what's needed, clearly, and with no fine print. This page explains what we collect on this site, what for, and what you can do about it.
Who’s responsible for your data
Adriana Urdaneta Borges, an individual resident in Spain, responsible for Finnela.
Contact: hello@finnela.com
What we collect
Only your email address, when you choose to join our list. Nothing else.
Is giving your email required?
No. It’s entirely voluntary. If you choose not to share it, we simply won’t be able to send you information about Finnela’s launch or our newsletter.
What we use it for
To let you know when Finnela launches, and to send you news, resources, and communications related to the platform by email. We don’t share or sell your email to anyone.
On what legal basis
Your consent. You give us your email because you want to receive our communications. You can withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out beforehand.
Who processes it and where it’s stored
We use MailerLite to store the list and send the emails. Your data is stored securely in MailerLite for as long as we have your consent. Where an international transfer of data takes place, it will only be carried out using the protection mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally recognized safeguards.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent. As soon as you do, we stop writing to you and your email is removed from the list.
How we protect your data
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, or its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, or portability. For any of these, write to us at hello@finnela.com. You can also unsubscribe directly from the link included in every email. And if you feel we haven’t done right by you, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
Changes to this policy
If Finnela grows and we start handling more data, we’ll update this page and you’ll see the date above change.
